Depending on the height and angle of your ceiling, you may need to purchase a longer downrod to bring your ceiling fan closer to the floor and improve performance. Extension rods are generally specific to each fan.

This Martec 1800mm DC Downrod Wifi has been designed for the Martec range of Wifi DC fans as well as the Martec Quantum DC. For added convenience the downrod also comes with the wiring loom.

General Recommendations 

• Australian Safety Standards require your ceiling fan’s blades to be at least 2.1m (2100mm) from the floor.

• Increasing the amount of space above your ceiling fan will generally result in better performance (airflow).

• The ideal distance from the floor to the blades of your ceiling fan is between 2100mm and 2700mm for optimal performance.
