Depending on the height and angle of your ceiling, you may need to purchase a longer downrod to bring your ceiling fan closer to the floor and improve performance. Extension rods are generally specific to each fan.

This Eglo 600mm downrod has been designed for the Aloha and Aruba ceiling fans. For added convenience the downrod also comes with the wiring loom.

General Recommendations 

  • Australian Safety Standards require your ceiling fan’s blades to be at least 2.1m (2100mm) from the floor.

  • Increasing the amount of space above your ceiling fan will generally result in better performance (airflow).

  • The ideal distance from the floor to the blades of your ceiling fan is between 2100mm and 2700mm for optimal performance.
